Brush and Sponge Techniques |
Well executed techniques is what gives the WOW factor to your designs making them stand out in a crowd. In these ninety minute hands-on workshop, Marcela and Deidre team up to demonstrate various brush and sponge techniques making sure that the students are understanding what it is that makes for a perfect line and a perfect blending. It is up to the student to practice until they can paint flawless with the speed required to move a line. |

Everything looks brighter with rainbows! Learn how to paint amazing colorful designs using a variety of techniques including the use of the new rainbow cakes. From butterflies to Superheroes to beautiful masks, these class will teach you some of the best tips and tricks for moving the line without compromising the end results. |

Based on the new upcoming new book in her series “The Book of Holiday Designs”, Marcela and Pam will spark your imagination and creativity and get you ready for your Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and New Year’s Eve face painting gigs. Design ideas for other holidays will also be included. |

Body Painting
In this hands-on workshop you will learn the basics of body painting such a applying the base coat, the importance of the flow of the design and the use of brushes and sponges. Painting jeans and lingerie will be demonstrated and the student will be given a a chance to paint their own version of these two designs.
The Magic of Birthday Parties
For 30 years, Marcela has been entertaining at thousands of birthday parties using clowning, magic, storytelling, face painting, games and balloon art. Spend a day with Mama Clown learning what works, how to put a show together, cater to different ages, using audience participation, storytelling and more. A must for any performer looking to start, increase or improve their birthday parties bookings.

In this hour Mama Clown will share fun magic routines that truly work to entertain a young audience. She will explain the aspects to incorporate when looking for your own magical routines and how to take powerful effect and bring them down to a child’s level.

A continuation of the first hour, Mama Clown will show you the importance and significance to adding storytelling to your presentations. Various storytelling styles will be demonstrated as well as creative exercises to spark your own imagination.

Character Development and Audience Participation
Clowning is a continuously developing art form and an never learning experience. In this class Mama Clown will help you to understand that there’s nothing more certain than change and that it takes an average of 13 years to develop a clown character. Sharing a few techniques that has proven successful in her 30 year career as an entertainer, you will leave this class ready put to practice everything you learned. |
