Fusion Face and Body Make up Neon colors are blacklight reactive and will shine bright in UV, neon or blacklight lighting. They do not require any special activation, they are applied and removed the same way non neon colors are applied. They can be applied directly to the skin, combined with all your other favorite brands and look great under normal lighting. Fusion Neon’s paints stand out because of their intense pigment and are popular amongst face painters.
There is one disclaimer to mention with regards to Neon Pigments. Neon pigments are currently classified for special effects use, and not for cosmetic use. They are still being evaluated and awaiting further testing by the FDA before the existing pigments used in this formula can be labeled for cosmetic use. In all of our years as artists and painters, we have not encountered any issues using Neon colors in our face painting. As with any cosmetic there is always a chance of a reaction, but we do not believe there is an increased chance by using Neon pigments. We recommend using at your own discretion. If you are looking for a FDA compliant Neon Formulation we also offer Kryolan which is now made using FDA complaint neon pigments. Click Here for Kryolan Neon

Disclaimer for Neon pigments: Paints containing neon pigments are meant to be used for special effects and are not considered a cosmetic product. Neon colors utilize pigments that lack approval from the USA Cosmetic Regulator for cosmetic application (as they haven't undergone cosmetic testing by the agency). The manufacturer asserts that these pigments have been independently assessed for cosmetic safety by external laboratories and government bodies in various countries. Adhering to the regulator's guidelines, these pigments are classified as a Special FX Product - Prosthetic Paint, intended for exclusive professional usage, and not categorized as a cosmetic item.
The recommended use involves applying the product solely to prosthetic appliances, bald caps, clothing, etc. This specification pertains solely to the UV/Neon pigments within this product and does not extend to the remaining pigments.
