Application: Ben Nye grease make up can be applied with a brush, sponge, or your fingers. Once applied to the skin and set with a setting powder, Ben Nye Clown Makeup can withstand sweat and can last an entire day. Grease makeup blends easily and Ben Nye colors are bold and stay vibrant even after applying setting powder.

Removal: Remove Ben Nye Clown Makeup with baby oil or makeup remover.

Grease Makeup or Water-Based Makeup?

  • Grease makeup is not ideal for birthday party or event face painting because it requires baby oil to remove and can be greasy and smudge if children rub their faces.
  • Grease makeup can feel heavier on the skin and requires that you apply setting powder in order to set the makeup. Make sure your model is comfortable with the makeup and powder application.

Attached is a copy of our Material Safety Date Sheet for foundation base wax used in Ben Nye creme products. This compound is the primary ingredient in all of the creme-based products listed (see footnote).

All returns and/or exchanges must be authorized and the product must be in it's original packaging and be unused and undamaged. Silly Farm Supplies Inc. reserves the right to refuse any return and/or exchange. If your item arrived damaged as a result of transit, be sure to save the damaged box for insurance claim purposes with the shipping company. We require photos for all items that arrived damaged.
