The Flat Out Case was designed by professional face painter, Rosie Bruni to meet her needs for a lighter, more portable, and flat face painting case. The Flat Out Case is meant to be used completely flat and was designed to operate as a mobile tabletop. The idea is that face paints are stored in the left (stationary) side of the case and tools are stored in the right (active) side of the case. The pressure of the items on the active side against the stationary side, when closed, prevents the items from moving around. Once placed on a flat surface, the stationary side remains flat while the active side opens 180 degrees to also lay flat.

The Flat Out Case is ideal for the face painter who does not wish to carry all of the extra storage paints & materials to every gig. It's also ideal for artists who also provide other services, such as balloon art, as the shoulder strap allows you to carry the case hands free so you can carry other items in one trip to your event. The Flat Out Case is not meant to be a replacement for other, larger, cases that offer included legs, wheels, inserts, etc, rather it is offered as an alternative option for those who are looking for simpler, smaller, lighter, and extra surface space out of a face painting case.

The Flat Out Case weighs approximately 7.4lbs and is 19.5 inches long by 16.75 inches wide, by 3.75 inches tall. When open, it measures 39.5 inches long, exclusive of handle/latches. The inside useable space per side of case is 16.15 inches x 19 inches. The interior depth of each side is 1.5 inches, meaning that the max height of any item cannot be greater than 3 inches, and this item must be placed on the left (stationary) side of the case when closing so that it can extend into the right (active) side of the case when closed. We recommend planning to use items that are 2 in tall or less. Rosie uses collapsible water cups, for example, so that they fit comfortably in one side. The active side of the case is designed to extend somewhat into the stationary side of the case in order to hold the items on the stationary side in place, so it's okay if the items on the active side extend past 1.5 in, as long as there is space to accommodate in the stationary side. The quality worth for that price and have a lot of space in side in addition to the light weight, l am happy with this product because finally found that all my stuff in one place,and extra ordinary zipper bag equipped inside

Love it, Fits everything I need, quick and easy setup, light weight, smaller size

I was looking for a long time for a case that will be efficient for all my needs. My weekends schedule can get pretty busy, and when timing between gigs every minute counts. I needed something that is very quick to setup and quick to pack. I also have a small car, so I needed something not too big or bulky, and not too heavy. Something I can easily pick up and load in my small trunk. On top of that I was looking for something that would not break my bank either... lol... I know, it's a lot to ask... I tried to create something that would fit all my needs by transforming other cases. It worked to some degree. Well, this case is designed with my needs in mind, seems like. To setup, I just have to open the case and pull out my brushes case and fill my collapsible water pot and I am ready. It's light enough to carry and comes with the shoulder strap. One side I loaded with my paints (there is no magnetic board, but you can add if you want to, I think the base will work with Velcro if you desire, but you don't need either of those) The other side I loaded with everything else I need - case with brushes, wipes, stencils, sponges, water spritzer, glitters, collapsible water pot, more paint cases, and other stuff. I just open the case and it's all set in front of me. Everything is flat, so in case of a windy day, the wind doesn't try to blow your case away. In between 2 sides of the case there is a large flap the size of the entire case. The flap is a pocket with a zipper. That's where i keep sponges, towels, and during gigs it's a catch-it-all bag - it comes down to a side of the case when I unpack and un-strap everything. The 3 straps and a middle pocket flap lock all the stuff on one side in place. Then I close the case, and the side that is locked by straps keeps all stuff in place without magnets or Velcro. And that's it! How cool is that! I love the smaller size of the case, lighter weight, quick and easy setup and pack up, and affordable price. I just open the case and ready to work.

If your item arrived damaged as a result of transit, be sure to save the damaged box for insurance claim purposes with the shipping company. We require photos for all items that arrived damaged.
