Chicago Face and Body Artist Margi Kanter brings her adventurous spirit to each of her unique designs. Inspired by the amazing work of her cartoonist dad growing up and her best friend David Levi she continues the artistic journey. Margi is a single mother of three and has built her business from the ground up. She has attended the FABAIC from the beginning and has used the knowledge she has received from each convention to become successful at her trade. She works corporate as well as private events in and around Chicago as well as throughout the country. Just recently she has taken her art to a new level and incorporated her silly cartoon designs in a new direction...onto the nose and we are happy to announce that she will introduce her first book on the subject at this years convention. In 2010 Margi teamed up with her best friend David Levi to teach a class on how to incorporate cartooning into your face painting skills. Together they inspired many to take cheek art to a new dimension! Unfortunately the Face and Body Art community lost a dear friend when david passed away last year. She will be teaching the class on her own but we all know that David spirit will be right there to guide her.
