Melissa Munn is the owner and operator of Face Art by Melissa in New York City. With a background in musical theater and opera, she has performed and toured all over Europe and was always much more comfortable on stage than holding a paint brush. She started face painting at her daughter’s fifth birthday party and quickly realized she loved it as much as the kids did! She found Silly Heather B on Youtube.com and the learning began! Princess and superhero parties for kids led to events for adults; masquerade parties, private makeup appointments for Park Avenue clients going to galas and balls, body painting, music videos, photo shoots and even 30th, 40th and 50th birthday parties! This last year brought her to Madison Square Garden Hockey House where she and her team painted for the New York Rangers during the hockey season and the Stanley Cup Finals. Go, Rangers!!! Melissa is so grateful to have found this fun, joyful and satisfying way to make a living creating art!
